«All that the poet and painter can dream of, nature has created in this place” was how Aurora Dudevant, the real name of the poetess George Sand, described the municipality of Valldemossa. Sand arrived in Mallorca in the winter of 1838, accompanied by her love, the renowned pianist Frederic Chopin, and the rest is history.

Valldemossa is an authentic mountain paradise just a stone’s throw from the city of Palma.
